On Sunday night, Kanye West was given four minutes of free reign at the MTV VMAs. The controversial artist used his time to jump from topic to topic, including gun violence, Taylor Swift, and shouting out his ex, Amber Rose. While West was unable to focus on one subject long enough to really make a clear argument or point, no one had trouble focusing on the premiere of his new music video for “Fade.”
Starring model and singer Teyana Taylor and NBA player Iman Shumpert, “Fade” is both a reminder that we need to hit the gym, but also wipe down the machines when we’re done. Dancing her way through the video in a thong and crop top, Taylor grinds, stomps and stretches over every piece of machinery while fully oiled up. Super hot if you’re shooting a music video. Kinda the worst if you’re actually working out with her.
Late Late Show host James Corden released a sketch last night inserting himself in the music video for “Fade” and pointing out all the times Taylor ignored proper gym etiquette, including allowing sheep in the gym. Of course, it wasn’t all bad. If you like looking at hard bodies at the gym, then you want a membership wherever Teyana goes.
